TOP 5 ROUTES TO TAKE DURING A MOTORCYCLE ROADTRIP.
I. Trip to Italy

Do you know the Stelvio Pass? It was recommended to us by one of our subscribers. And indeed, if you are a fan of winding roads surrounded by breathtaking landscapes , you probably have your next destination. It is the highest road pass in the Italian Alps. Many bikers want to discover the SS 38 road.
It's a paradise for motorcyclists but a hell for motorists. But beware, you will have been warned: this road has a total drop of 1871 meters and remains very difficult to navigate. On the program, an incalculable number of difficult turns as well as slopes of more than 15%. Stay focused :-)
II. A magnificent journey in France
In France, there is an exceptional route for roadtrip lovers. A few passes and a bit of road between them, anyone?
We start by taking you to the foot of the Col de la Madeleine which is a stage of the Tour de France and which is located in Savoie. It culminates at 1993 meters. Then, go to the Col du Télégraphe, not far from there. If this pass is slightly lower (1566m), it is just as beautiful. As a bonus, you can visit Fort Telegraph located at its summit. Then, we continue our route towards a very well-known and unmissable pass: the Col du Lautaret culminating at 2058 m. It lives up to its reputation for spectacular views!
Now, towards the fourth and last pass, this is the Col du Galibier located at more than 2600 meters above sea level. It's a wonderful way to conclude your beautiful trip. Be careful, this pass is known to be generally open only during the summer.
Do you have the strange taste of too little? As a bonus, we suggest you do the Col de la Croix de Fer which is located not far from these other passes.
III. The classic route 66

The one that Americans call “The Mother Road” has not finished making you dream: this road is legendary! How not to dream of imagining swallowing 4000 kilometers of asphalt while crossing all the United States?
During your journey, you will cross 8 different states. From Illinois to California, you will pass through sublime landscapes worthy of the most beautiful postcards . You will see inhabited or uninhabited cities, canyons, mountains and even cactus forests. But we don't tell you everything, you have to keep surprises to be fully amazed.
On the practical side, everything is possible: it's up to you to define your course! You can choose to start from the East to go West and vice versa and define your important stopping points in order to visit the cities that particularly interest you. Many monuments or emblematic figures of the US are to be seen on Route 66. You are going to enjoy it!
IV. Scotland and Ireland

These two countries will allow you to really get a change of scenery. Winding roads in the countryside, Irish pubs away from civilization and sublime landscapes (seaside, cliffs…) will be your daily life . On the course side, many sites offer incredible routes to make sure you don't miss the essentials. We have spotted for you the advice of the motorcycle travel site in particular.
V. A short trip to Norway

Head for the town of Åndalsnes in central Norway! But before that, it is in Valldalen that we give you an appointment.
You will take Trollstigen (the “troll road”) which will offer you breathtaking scenic drives . This road is the most beautiful in Europe, you can pass huge cliffs with breathtaking waterfalls, and fill your eyes with incredible Nordic landscapes.
Please note that this route cannot be done at any time of the year. In winter, there is a risk that it will be totally snow-covered and therefore impassable or even dangerous. So be sure to go in spring or summer!
